At Bridges to Wellbeing, LLC, our providers share an office address, a phone number, and an office manager. Beyond that, each provider has their own set of talents, gifts, skills, practice approaches, and professional interests. Each provider has their own schedule and availability, insurance panel participation, and fee scales.

Cheryl L. Williams

LPC | PLLC

Mrs. Williams has been providing counseling services in Northwest Arkansas since 2002. She employs a variety of therapeutic counseling techniques along with psychological testing, which helps to identify and formulate
treatment options to enhance and enrich the therapeutic process.

Mrs. Williams now provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a research-backed approach proven effective in treating trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. EMDR helps clients process difficult memories by engaging the brain’s natural healing abilities, leading to lasting emotional relief and improved wellbeing.

MY EXPERTISE

Her private practice provides therapy to individuals, beginning with adolescence through senior adult, which includes treatment for, but is not limited to phase of life and adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and abuse, and personality disorders. She has certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and in the administration of the Temperament Character Inventory (TCI). Mrs. Williams completed her training in Marriage and Family Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1991.

After graduation she worked in a variety of clinical settings before opening a private practice in 2005.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors, American Counseling Association (ACA), and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

When she isn’t at Bridges to Wellbeing, Mrs. Williams enjoys the company of her husband, their adult children, grandchildren, and friends.

Kathleen M. Wong

MD | PLLC

Kathleen M. Wong, MD, PLLC is a psychiatrist who has been practicing in Northwest Arkansas since 2004. Her private practice focuses on adult general outpatient psychiatric care.

MY EXPERTISE

After Wong graduated with her MD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, Pennsylvania, she completed residency training in psychiatry at Barnes-Jewish Hospitals with Washington University in St Louis, Missouri. Following this, she became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Current interests include the Temperament Character Inventory, (TCI). The TCI is a set of tests designed to identify the intensity of and the relationships between the seven basic personality dimensions of Temperament and Character, which interact to create the unique personality of an individual. Presently she is an Assistant Professor, Clinical Educator for the University of Medical Sciences, Department of Psychiatry, Psychiatric Research Institute – Northwest. She maintains her status as a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

One of the treatment types Dr. Wong specializes in is Ketamine Therapy. Dayna D. Hughes

MD | PLLC

Dayna Hughes completed her residency training for both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry in 2004 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

MY EXPERTISE

Dayna Hughes is a psychiatrist who has been in private practice in Northwest Arkansas since 2014.

After graduating with her MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas, Hughes completed residency training in psychiatry with the UAMS Department of Psychiatry. Following residency in adult psychiatry she entered into fellowship training with the UAMS Department of Child and Adolescent psychiatry. Upon finishing her fellowship training, Hughes became junior faculty part time with the UAMS Department of Psychiatry and devoted the remainder of her time to United Family Services working as the only psychiatrist on staff helping children and teens. Her private practice includes outpatient adult and teen psychiatric care.

When she isn’t at BTW, Hughes enjoys going to the Walton Performing Arts Center with her daughter, trying new restaurants with her son, dinner out with her husband, traveling with friends and family, and trying new recipes.

Amy earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Arkansas and completed internships at the Univ. of AR Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital.

She worked for 8+ years as a school-based mental health therapist serving children, adolescents, and their families before joining the private practice sector, where she has worked for 17 years treating children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Amy values the therapeutic relationship and works hard to create a welcoming space where all feel accepted and comfortable. She utilizes a wide variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR, to help patients find healing and growth. She values a holistic approach to bring into balance all parts of ourselves as we relate to our families and community.

She has experience working with a multitude of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, trauma, disordered eating, and adjustment to life changes.

Bethany McGhehey

LPE, LAC

Bethany graduated with her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology
from The University of Central Arkansas in 2007. She offers a variety of individual and couples counseling techniques as well as psychological assessments and testing.

MY EXPERTISE

Bethany’s private practice offers therapeutic and psychological testing services to individuals and couples, ranging from late adolescence to adulthood. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, body image concerns, and interpersonal relationship challenges.

Bethany is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Gottman Method, but incorporates a variety of exercises from multiple schools of thought.

Recognizing the integral connection between the brain and body, she incorporates somatic practices and neuroscience-based techniques into her sessions.

Bethany is currently pursuing certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and actively seeks to enhance her clinical expertise through ongoing training and supervision.

Matthew Crouch

Dr. Matthew Crouch is a child and adolescent psychiatrist. He was born and raised in Springdale where he graduated high school. He then attended Hendrix College in Conway and majored in biology. Dr. Crouch completed medical school at UAMS in Little Rock and his general psychiatric residency and child fellowship at UAMS, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Arkansas State Hospital, and Methodist Behavioral Hospital. He specializes in treating ADHD, Autism, anxiety disorders, depression with medication.  He is dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families through evidence-based psychotherapy and medication management. Dr. Crouch is excited to live in his home community with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys Legos, Crossfit, mountain biking, home improvement, Razorback sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Remmy Williams

LAC

Remmy Williams is a licensed associate counselor who specializes in
helping adults heal from the lasting effects of childhood trauma. She
works with clients who may struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing,
boundary-setting, and self-worth as a result of emotionally unmet
needs early in life. Remmy provides a compassionate, trauma-informed
space where clients can explore their experiences, develop
self-understanding, and build healthier patterns rooted in self-trust
and emotional resilience.
